In 2016 Triumph gave the Tiger 1050 a new lease of life. The chassis remained pretty much as it was but they heavily revised the already torquey three-cylinder engine and introduced 104 improvements including traction control, three ride modes (Rain, Road and Sport), Cruise Control, ABS, a new exhaust, airbox and fuel mapping. Peak torque and power increased marginally thought the spread improved significantly; there’s 4% more torque at 5250rpm and a 4-6% increase in power from 5000 - 7000rpm. This bike is a joy to ride.
